Sony XDV-S700 Bravia 1Seg Portable TV

XDV-S700 Sony Bravia

With today’s smart phones giving you access to a literal plethora of media, a TV like this would have been so much cooler years ago.  Not that the tech is anything new, the XDV-S700 uses a 5″ widescreen to display images in WQVGA resolution, and the whole TV fits inside a 5mm chassis and looks to be very kitchen and travel ready.

The XDV-S700 has an internal 2GB of memory and an integrated FM and AM radio for when there’s nothing on TV.  The 1Seg TV tuner is also supposed to double the sensitivity of previous models.   No word yet on price or availability but I imagine it shouldn’t be too outlandish.
